OUR PROMOTIONAL CHARACTERS

Two characters were selected for the short videos to be created as part of TERRA's communication activities. These are two of the characters that best represent the ecosystem and are open to be heard as beings that represent powerful messages that disaster can be prevented by protecting the ecosystem.

Otter: Otters are one of the important animals that maintain biodiversity by interacting with other species in the ecosystem. They play an important role in balancing the food chain. A healthy otter population is a meaningful figure for the project as it often symbolizes a healthy and clean aquatic ecosystem.
Eco-Sis (EcologySister): This modern and friendly name represents the figure of a big sister or sister who raises awareness about ecology. “Eco-Sis” can convey the issues of ecosystem protection and disaster risk management in an understandable and engaging way, especially when interacting with young target audiences.
